First web project
The project that started my web design career. Very early on, it showed how much a website could change the way people discovered a business.
This is where it all began. In 1997, my father owned a hotel and golf resort in the south of France. I built the first website at a time when most businesses had never heard of the internet, then went on to create the logo, brochure, magazine ads, photography, multilingual website, SEO, and long-term digital presence.
What it became
Vigiers was my first commercial web project, and it became the foundation for everything that followed. The original site helped bring international guests to a French hotel and golf resort at a time when the web was still unfamiliar to most businesses.
Over the years the work grew far beyond the website. I created the logo, designed brochures and magazine advertising, shot the photography, built multilingual versions of the site, handled SEO, and later developed a bespoke WordPress theme as the web matured. It was a long relationship, and a rare chance to shape almost every visible part of a business.

Later iterations moved into WordPress with a bespoke theme, so the site could evolve with the resort and the web itself.
The site served an international audience, as a destination hotel and golf resort drawing guests from multiple countries.
I created the logo, brochure material, and magazine advertising, so the resort had a visual presence beyond the screen.
I shot the hotel, golf course, interiors, and locations. That library of original imagery carried the site and the print work.
Nearly twenty years of design, SEO, marketing, updates, and transition support as the business and ownership changed.
